Mary needs a lift to Bethlehem, but which Donkey will volunteer for this very important job? This short story shows the importance of kindness and helping others, even when it isn’t convenient, as shown by a very special little donkey. Sometimes, when asked to do something difficult or inconvenient, we are tempted to say no. And sometimes that’s OK. But other times it may well be worth the effort! So never say yes or no before having thought it over first!
This twenty-minute show is tailor-made for primary school pupils to present in class assemblies. With a flexible cast ranging from two to over thirty, it is also ideal for home performances with friends and family.
