This exciting musical is a great introduction to Shakespeare for pupils aged 9 to 15 in Schools and Youth Theatres, and for students of English as a foreign language.

Welcome to Ancient Egypt with all its splendour and intrigue! While Cleopatra battles to hang on to her power over Egypt and Roman triumvir, Mark Antony, he is torn between a life of luxury in her court, and loyalty to his wife and comrades back in Rome. It all ends tragically when Antony is betrayed by Cleopatra and defeated by Caesar.

A choice of scripts is provided – a shortened, original text, or simpler modern rhyming version.
Which ever one you choose, with eleven terrific songs and dances, great costumes and sets, your school production of Antony and Cleopatra will be epic!
